Second Time to Philippines
Our second trip to the Philippines was a happy reunion at the Blue Orchid resort. We were thrilled to see our friends Steve and Michele, who manage the resort. It felt like coming home as they warmly welcomed us once again. This was the first time I took a underwater camera with me. I started with a Olympus PEN E-P3 and a SEA&SEA flash.
This time, we had the pleasure of having my mom join us to experience the underwater world. She didn’t settle for just snorkeling; she took it a step further and went on a discovery scuba dive. It was inspiring to see her excitement and bravery as she explored the depths with the guidance of experienced instructors. Many thanks at this point to Steve!
For us, each dive was a new adventure filled with vibrant coral reefs and fascinating marine life. From graceful sea turtles to stunning ghost pipe fishe, we were amazed by the beauty that unfolded beneath the waves. During our breaks, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the Blue Orchid resort, enjoying delicious meals and taking in the nice beachfront views.
Our second trip to the Philippines was a special experience of reconnecting with friends and creating treasured memories. Having my mom join us in this underwater exploration made it even more memorable. Leaving the Blue Orchid resort was bittersweet, but we departed with hearts full of gratitude and a longing to return. Until we meet again, Philippines!
